It Doesn’t Always Have to Be a Clear Path, but a Journey with a Clear Destination Changes Everything.
The road ahead is rarely straight. It twists, turns, and at times, disappears altogether. But when your destination is clear, the journey itself transforms. Every setback becomes a steppingstone, every detour an unexpected lesson, and every challenge a chapter in the story of your growth.
Yesterday, during the AI Enthusiast Community Workshop powered by #MicrosoftTeams, led by Huijun (Judy) Suo, PhD, we explored deceptively simple questions:
-What are your strengths: What makes you uniquely powerful?
- How do you learn: Are you adapting, growing, and equipping yourself for the AI- driven world?
- What are your dreams: Do you know what you want to achieve?
- What’s your future book title: If you were to write about your life 30 years from now, what would that story be?
At first, these questions felt familiar, like something we’ve all been asked before. But the way Judy guided the session gave us space to pause, reflect, and look deeper.
Realizing My Strengths
In that moment of reflection, as I retraced the steps of my own journey, I saw a pattern begin to emerge:
🔹The hurdles that tested my patience.
🔹 The career breaks that made me question my path.
🔹 The shifts in direction that felt like starting over, again and again.
For a long time, these seemed like setbacks. But when I truly paused, I realized, they were not obstacles. They were teachers.
And as I considered the fast-evolving AI-driven world we live in today, I saw a parallel. Just like life, this moment in time is filled with both disruption and potential. With the speed at which AI is reshaping industries and redefining skills, it's easy to feel lost or left behind.
We start asking ourselves:
🔹 How do I cope?
🔹 How do I keep up?
🔹 How do I ramp up, without burning out?
That stillness led me inward. It reminded me that the very strengths that helped me overcome personal challenges will also help me navigate this new frontier.
🔹Resilience – Rising every time I fall.
🔹 Grit – The unshakeable will to keep moving forward.
🔹 Continuous Learning – The belief that growth never ends.
As Satya Nadella says, “The learn-it-all does better than the know-it-all.”
And that’s the mindset I choose to lead with, not certainty, but curiosity.
The Image That Speaks My Story
As part of the workshop, we were invited to visualize our journey through an image and reflect on what the title of our future book might be.
Here is the image generated based on my prompt, a symbolic representation of who I am and what I stand for.
My title of the book would be: "I Have Found My Way to Live My Dreams."
Every detail in the image mirrors a piece of my story:
The key - a symbol of self-empowerment. The true key to happiness lies within.
The book, a testament to lifelong learning, filled with lessons from every twist and turn.
The road, a reminder that while the path may be winding, it leads to purpose.
The road markers, each stone on the roadside a milestone, a challenge overcome, a lesson embraced.
The glow on the horizon, the light of clarity and direction that fuels the next chapter.
A Question for You
We are all walking different paths. Some are just beginning. Others are in the thick of transformation. Wherever you are, take a moment to pause. Reflect.
If you were to write a book 30 years from now, what would its title be?
What would your journey say about who you are, what you’ve learned, and where you’re going?
Drop your thoughts in the comments, I’d love to hear your reflections. Let’s grow together.

The title of my book would be "Architect your possibilities" :)
